This winter we have introduced some delicious new apple varieties to the nursery and the trees are looking excellent.
We have grown many great varieties on the dwarfing M26 rootstock as many people are having great success with this rootstock on small properties and for small espaliers.
We have introduced the M793 rootstock for cider and juice varieties of apples. This will produce a big sturdy tree, producing abundant fruit for pressing into juice.
We also have a limited supply of two year old trees this season, get in quick and put your orchard a year ahead!
I have been busy with some great edible garden and orchard design projects recently, it’s neat to be helping folk who are enthusiastic about growing food at home.
Check out some of the resulting designs and a description of our other services on the Services page.
We have been really enjoying Belle de Boskoop apples (pictured) recently, when cooked they partially hold their shape and the flesh goes orange and pink! Delicious in apple pie.
